Spotlight on activism to end Domestic Violence

Women AWARE – 16 Days of Awareness to End Gender-Based Violence

Women AWARE posted on Facebook that starting today (November 25), the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, it is spearheading an online Awareness Campaign called “16 Days of Awareness to End Gender-Based Violence” in which many local Montreal organizations will publicize theirs and each other’s services through a social media blast. Prepare to learn all about Montreal’s abundant network of organizations supporting survivors of gender-based violence. This event aims to increase the visibility of organizations and their services, resulting in more accessibility for those in need while also taking strides to help end the stigma and isolation surrounding the topic of conjugal violence.”
